Privacy policy

What we store

• Your account: username, email and password. The password is stored as a hash (bcrypt): nobody, not even the team, can read it.
• Your game: characters, items, zen, progress, party, guild and MU Helper settings.
• Dates: account creation and last login.
• Sanctions: mutes and bans, with their reason and duration.
• Technical data: your IP address passes through our network provider (Cloudflare) and may appear in short-lived technical logs used to defend the service from attacks.

Chat is not stored in a database: the guild history lives in memory and is gone once all its members log out.

What we don't do

• This website uses no cookies and no analytics or advertising tools.
• We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
• The game program does not read your files: it only writes to its own folder and its profile in %AppData%.

What we use it for

To let you play, to protect your account and the game (detecting abuse, enforcing the rules) and to contact you about your account when needed.

For how long

As long as your account exists. If you ask for it to be deleted, your account and characters are removed; backups roll over within a few days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to the team on Discord. We will ask you to prove the account is yours.

Minors

The game is meant for people aged 13 or older. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has an account, let us know and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will say so here with its date and announce it on Discord.
