Download The MU Project

The full game for Windows in one zip (≈ 780 MB). After that it updates itself: no need to download it again.

For now the download is published on our Discord, in its downloads channel: the latest version is always there.

Requirements

System

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.

Disk space

≈ 1.5 GB free once unzipped.

Graphics

An integrated or dedicated GPU with up-to-date drivers. The in-game display options adjust the detail.

Connection

A stable internet connection. Linux, coming later.

Installation

  1. Unzip the file wherever you like (for example in Documents). It creates the MuClient folder.
  2. Open MuClient.exe. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info and then Run anyway: the program is not code-signed yet.
  3. Pick your language the first time. The launcher checks and downloads whatever changed.
  4. Create your account on the login screen, then your character.

To uninstall, delete the MuClient folder. There is no installer and nothing in the registry.
