Terms of use

By creating an account or playing The MU Project you accept these terms, the game rules and the privacy policy.

1. The service

The MU Project is a free, non-profit fan project inspired by MU Online. It is provided "as is": it may have bugs, outages or maintenance, and we do not guarantee it will be available at all times or forever.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account and for keeping your password secret.
• Accounts are personal: they are not lent, shared or sold.

3. Acceptable use

You must follow the game rules. In short: no cheating, no exploiting bugs, no real-money trading and no harassing other players.

4. Items, zen and progress

Characters, items, zen and anything else in the game have no monetary value and are not your property: they are part of the service and are provided for you to play. They may be adjusted, corrected or reset, for example to fix a bug or balance the game.

5. Sanctions

If you break these terms or the rules we may mute you, suspend your account temporarily or close it, and remove anything obtained improperly. Serious cases need no prior warning.

6. The program

You may use the game program only to play The MU Project. You may not modify it, decompile it to cheat or redistribute it modified.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the team is not liable for lost progress, indirect damages or the service being unavailable.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. Important changes will be announced on Discord; continuing to play afterwards means you accept them.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any question, write to the team on Discord.
