Chaos Machine

Talk to the Chaos Goblin in Noria (102, 180).

Recipe first

On the left is the recipe list, with a search box. Pick one and on the right you see what it needs, what can come out, the cost and the success chance. The ingredients you have are highlighted in your bag: double click or drag to add them.

Two kinds of recipe

• Combine: some items turn into another. Everything is consumed, success or failure.
• Refine: you raise the level of an item of yours. The recipe says what happens on failure: it stays the same, drops, or is destroyed.

Raising the chance

• Ingredients with a higher level or option raise the rate.
• Some recipes take boosters with a counter, up to the maximum.
• A talisman means that on failure the item drops to +0 instead of being destroyed.

Safe by design

• You must hold the button to confirm: a single click does nothing.
• The machine only uses what's in the bag, never what you're wearing, and doesn't touch locked items.
• While the window is open you stay still and nothing else touches your bag.
