Getting started

From download to your first level 50 in a few minutes of reading.

1. Install the game

Download the zip from the download page, unzip it and open MuClient.exe. The first time you pick the language; after that the launcher updates itself every time you open it.

2. Create your account

On the login screen, Register tab:

• Username: 4 to 20 letters or numbers, no spaces.
• Password: 8 to 72 characters.
• Email: one that is yours; it can't be shared between accounts.

Tick Remember username if you always play on the same PC. Nobody from the team will ever ask for your password.

3. Create your character

Click Create character, pick one of the three classes and name it (4 to 20 letters or numbers). Not sure? Read Classes: all three can play solo.

4. Your first minutes

1. Look at the screen: at the bottom you have the life orb (left), the mana orb (right), the skill bar 1…0 and experience. At the top, your target's frame.
2. Spend your points with C. Each level gives points; if you make a mistake, Reset points gives them back for free. See Attributes.
3. Buy potions in the Lorencia shops and put them on the bar to drink them with a key.
4. Leave town and hunt. Left click to walk and attack. Inside town (safe zone) there is no fighting.
5. Pick up the loot with Space or a click. At first, what a monster drops belongs only to whoever killed it.
6. Learn skills: books, orbs and scrolls are learned with a double click in the inventory. Assign them to the bar from the K window.

5. What's next

• When you get tired of clicking, turn on the MU Helper with Z.
• Invite friends to your party: experience is split equally.
• At level 150 your first class evolution awaits.

If you die, you come back after a short countdown at the map's respawn point. You don't lose your gear.
